    I’m bored of talking to brand owners who have half-assed TikTok, only to then claim it doesn’t work 🙄They are wrong.     We accidentally DOUBLED our client’s TikTok views by split testing this new hook trend. Here’s how:We split tested classic, verbal/narrative based hooks against more subtle visual, sound or pace based hooks to see which performed better for a fashion client. The classic hook:Performed consistently, with no real spikes in viewsJust over 700K views across 50 videosThe subtle hook:Performed outstandingly for 41/50 videos, and the remaining 9 videos fell below averageBUT this resulted in over 1.4M views across the 50 videos As we move towards 2024, TikTok audiences are more aware of ad content… and people HATE being sold to.
